"Life begins at the 40th"

It is my pleasure to invite you to join us at the 40th Rotary Institute at Panthers World of Entertainment, Penrith from 18th to 20th November, 2005.

Penrith is located on the Nepean River , an hour's drive west of Sydney . Access is easy by car, Panthers being only a kilometre off the F4 freeway. For those of you who will be flying to Sydney, we are providing a coach service to and from the airport.

Panthers is a modern club facility with adjacent hotel accommodation, managed by Holiday Inn, and ample free car parking. It has excellent facilities for both our pre-Institute training programme and all the activities of the Institute. There are many nearby options for your reunion dinners.

Leisure activities abound, ranging from energetic river sports to a casual game of aqua golf, from a quiet stroll to lounging by the pool. The fabulous Blue Mountains are just a few kilometres away. The details on this web site will give you a good idea of what to expect and will, I hope, encourage you to join us for a wonderful week of Rotary fellowship.

Last year we asked you to tell us what you liked and disliked about Institutes. We have borne your comments in mind when planning this Institute and one of the results will be that plenary sessions will be shorter, discussion groups more focussed and the emphasis on current Rotary issues. One result is that there will be more leisure time to enjoy the fellowship of your fellow Rotarians and partners.
