Joc-Joc is presently with the Philippine Government as Undersecretary for Finance and Administration at the Department of Agriculture.

He serves as chairman of ZNAC Rubber Estates Corporation, Solidlife Holdings Corporation, and Food Credentials Corporation, and director of National Power Corporation, Land Bank of the Philippines and Livelihood Corporation.

He is also a member of the Investment Coordination Committee at the National Economic Development Authority. Before he joined the government, Joc-Joc was the president of Prudential Life Plan, Inc., and director of 11 affiliates of Prudentialife Plans, Inc.

A Rotarian since 1973, Joc-Joc is the charter president and current member of the Rotary Club of Paranaque South. He has served RI as District Governor, District World Community Service Chairman, and as Rotary International Membership coordinator.
