Make the most of your trip to the Institute by taking advantage of the activities we have planned for the three days preceding it. Final details are still being worked out, but we promise a varied, interesting and affordable experience.

Tuesday 15 th November - Evening

We will take a short coach trip to Faulconbridge in the Blue Mountains , where we will enjoy a twilight tour of the famous Norman Lindsay Gallery and Studios , a National Trust property where many of his works are displayed. After the tour enjoy a delicious barbeque in the grounds, served by the wonderful Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Springwood.

Price indicator* $35.

Wednesday 16 th November 2005 - All day

Enjoy a relaxing full-day coach trip to Blackheath , famous for its rhododendrons , which will be in full bloom in November. You will also be able to see the Three Sisters at Echo Point, Katoomba and the Historical Gardens of Everglades in Leura. We'll stop at Leura for lunch and shopping at the many eateries and fascinating shops, which make this a popular tourist venue. The coach will return to Panthers around 4pm, which gives time for a rest before a casual meal and drinks in the grounds of Panthers commencing at 6pm.

Price indicator* Tour - $30, excluding lunch; Dinner - $25.

Thursday 17 th November 2005 - Afternoon

We're leaving the morning free. You may like to visit one of Penrith's many attractions, go shopping in one of the largest shopping malls in Australia , or just relax in preparation for the Great Mini-Golf Challenge commencing at 1pm. This is mini-golf for beginners and experts alike as you've never seen it before! Panthers has a three-course range, which has to be seen to be believed! Each course has a different theme and the most beautiful plants. There is a native garden, a hedge garden and a tropical garden. You can make a team with your classmates or we will pair you up. Each course is wheelchair accessible and there is a café for refreshments. There will be a trophy for the winners. A great afternoon of fun and fellowship with lots of photo opportunities!

Price indicator* $21 for the three rounds.

Thursday 17 th November 2005 - Evening

The Rotary Club of Penrith Valley invites you to their weekly Rotary meeting at which the guest speaker will be our great friend and future leader, RI President-Elect Bill Boyd . This promises to be a great Rotary event and your chance to meet the Rotarians of the Penrith region. Partners are of course welcome.

Price indicator* $40.

Don't miss this chance to add to your Institute experience and enjoy the extended company of your friends and colleagues.

* The pricing indicators are estimates of the likely cost per person. Exact pricing will depend on the numbers participating and finalisation of negotiations with venues, coach companies, etc. Details will be included in the Registration package, which we expect to mail out in July.
